Zombies
The Halloween season is just about over. Shaving cream is being washed away, witches are no longer posted on windows and cardboard skeletons are being taken down from their strings on porches. Though Halloween is over, me and my dad's zombie movie marathons continue. For years, my father, my brother and I have been watching and loving zombie movies. We've come to accept that as movie monsters go, flesh-eating, post-apocalyptic zombies remain supreme. We've seen just about every single zombie movie out there. The best have to be "Night of the Living Dead" and 2004's remake of "Dawn of the Dead." Zombies have made a huge impact on our lives. Its guaranteed that at least once every 2 weeks or so, zombie survival scenarios are brought up over dinner or in just random conversation between us. Though we love other horror and action movies, zombie movies almost create a new genre by combining the two in a way that draws us even deeper into story. I'm wondering how long it will be until another awesome new zombie movie makes it to our TV screen.
